Here at Rocket and Rhubarb we believe that all your salads and vegetables should be nutritious and full of flavour. We have researched and selected the most flavoursome and extraordinary varieties, most of which, you won’t find in your local supermarket.
Local and Organic
All our produce is grown at our field just outside of Ford End. Working with the seasons, we grow our produce using organically sourced seeds and composts. We only use organic feeds and natural pest controls and can guarantee that no chemicals or preservatives are used.
A Living Greengrocer Shop
We believe it is important to really know what you are eating and where it comes from. So come and see us. Let us show you what we grow, how we grow it and give you suggestions on the best ways to cook it. You can choose your produce in the morning and we’ll deliver it to you later that day or you can take it with you.
We are now also working with another local organic grower in Essex to ensure our customers have a full range of produce available to them.

Martin and Kerry Yates would like to welcome you to the great taste of salads and vegetables. We want you to be able to savour the flavour of freshly picked produce and so our aim is to provide our customers with a service, where our produce is picked and delivered to your door on the same day. Where to find us
Rocket and Rhubarb can be found at Rolphy Green which is on Pleshey Road, between Pleshey and Ford End. From Ford End we are approximately 3/4 a mile along Pleshey Road, on the right before you reach Park Road. Our working hours vary so please call us before visiting.
